Who we are

Our website address is: https://www.calculator.land. You can get in touch with us at hello@calculator.land. This site uses cookieless analytics to see how its pages are used, so that we can improve them. We show no advertising.

Calculator Land is run by Lanterne Foto (organization number 917 917 728) and Kaalaas Web & SEO (organization number 926 638 645). The two companies are the data controllers for the personal data described on this page. You can reach both at hello@calculator.land.

What tools on this page collect data?

This website uses Rybbit for its visitor statistics. Rybbit is cookieless: it sets no cookies, it stores nothing in your browser, and it does not store your IP address. It records the first page view when the script loads, moves between pages within the site, the query string in the address bar, clicks on links that lead away from the site, and timing measurements of how quickly the page loads, how steady it stays, and how fast it responds when you use it. Those timings contain nothing you type. Known bots and crawlers are filtered out. The statistics are private to our own account.

On calculator pages we also record use of the "Save the calculator" button. Clicking it sends the event save_click, and copying or sharing the link sends save_complete. Both events record which calculator it is, which language version you are on, the address of the page, and whether you are using iOS, Android or a computer. save_complete also records whether you copied or shared the link.

Rybbit is not set up to record session replays, JavaScript errors, what you type into a form, text you copy from a page, or clicks on individual buttons other than "Save the calculator".

Our consent banner is CookiePal, and it loads on every page. It appears in your browser's language when that language is available, and in English otherwise. It is set to hold back embedded content from other companies until you consent, and the page stays usable before you answer.

The first time you open a page, CookiePal sets its own cookie on our domain. The cookie holds a random ID, and once you answer the banner, your choice is stored under that ID. The cookie lasts for one year. When you answer, CookiePal sends your choice and the ID to its own servers. Each time a page loads, CookiePal also sends a technical log request to its own servers: it names our site but contains neither the ID nor the page you are on, and, like any internet request, it arrives with your IP address and the name of your browser and operating system.

Nothing on this site waits for your consent before it runs: Rybbit sets no cookies and loads without waiting for the banner.

We do not use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google AdSense, Facebook pixels or any advertising network. None of them are installed, and there is no advertising on this site.

Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How do I turn off cookies?

You can change your browser settings to prevent this site from setting cookies, but doing so may affect the functionality of this site.
